Hi, I’m Sushmita Shivaram!

For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to art and artistic pursuits. I picked up a paintbrush at age 10 and subsequently dabbled with watercolor and oil paintings. While my academic and professional pursuits kept me busy in the tech world, I found myself coming back to the art of creation. When I got introduced to texture art, I found great joy in playing around with mixed mediums and in bringing two dimensional art to life. This is where my passion lies today.

Art to me is an expression of my innermost creativity and color palettes that dance around in my imagination. Each piece of art on this page is thoughtfully planned, right from the color palettes to the textures. It takes hours of effort for it to culminate into a beautiful accessory for a wall, and rightfully so. I believe that nothing can be more inspiring than nature, with all its perfections and imperfections and you can see it shine through my art. I also draw inspiration from simple, beautiful, everyday things that surround us.
